渡辺信一郎監督の新作「キャロル＆チューズデイ」に楽曲を提供するアーティスト第5弾。

スティーヴ・アオキはマイアミ生まれカリフォルニア育ちのエレクトロ・ミュージシャン／DJ。レストラン・チェーン「BENIHANA」創業者ロッキー青木の息子で、モデル／女優のデヴォン・アオキの異母兄である。EDMブームの中、DJとして頭角を現し、2012年にファースト・アルバム『Wonderland』をリリースした。リンキン・パークなど多彩なアーティストとの共演曲も多く、最近はBTSやMONSTA XなどK-POPとのコラボも盛ん。

モグアイは1994年から活動しているドイツ人DJ／プロデューサー。ウェストバムらとともにドイツのハウス／テクノDJのパイオニアとして活動し、数多くのパーティや巨大フェスでプレイしてきた。また、リミキサーとしてブリトニー・スピアーズやビヨンセ、モービー、スティーヴ・アオキなどのアーティストを手がけたほか、作曲家としてイギリスの女性グループ、シュガーベイブスやガールズ・アラウドの楽曲にも参加している。

アンディ・プラッツはイギリスのソングライター／ヴォーカリスト。09年にアシッド・ジャズやニュー・ソウルの影響を感じさせる5人組ママズ・ガンのフロントマンとしてデビュー、17年までに4枚のアルバムを発表した。15年からは米LAのミュージシャン、ショーン・リーと結成したヤング・ガン・シルヴァー・フォックスというAORデュオでも活動中。作曲家としても、日本のEVERY LITTLE THINGや山下智久、オランダのウーター・ヘメルらに楽曲を提供している。

コーネリアスは日本のシンガー・ソングライター／ギタリスト／プロデューサー＝小山田圭吾のソロ・ユニット。フリッパーズギター解散後の1993年から、この名で活動している。常に実験的で先鋭的なポップ・ミュージックを作り出すことで知られ、97年の『FANTASMA』がアメリカで発売されるなど海外での評価も高い。アニメ『攻殻機動隊 ARISE』(2013年）のサントラも手がけている。

The fifth group of composers providing music for CAROLE & TUESDAY, Shinichiro Watanabe’s latest project:

Steve Aoki is an electro musician and DJ who was born in Miami and raised in California. He is the son of Rocky Aoki, founder of the Benihana restaurant chain, and half-brother of Devon Aoki, the model and actress. After distinguishing himself as a DJ during the EDM boom, he released his first album, Wonderland, in 2012. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Linkin Park, and more recently, with many K-Pop bands such as BTS and MONSTA X.

MOGUAI is a German DJ and producer who has been active since 1994. A pioneer of house and techno DJing in Germany (along with DJs like WestBam), he has played at numerous parties and major festivals. In addition to collaborating with artists such as Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Moby, and Steve Aoki, he has also composed songs for the English girl groups Sugababes and Girls Aloud.

Andy Platts is a British songwriter and vocalist. In 2009, he debuted as the frontman of Mamas Gun, a five-piece band influenced by acid jazz and soul, and went on to release four albums with them by 2017. Since 2015, he has also been one half of the AOR duo Young Gun Silver Fox with American musician Shawn Lee. As a composer, he has provided music to Dutch artist Wouter Hamel and Japanese artists such as Every Little Thing and Tomohisa Yamashita.

Cornelius is the solo artist name of Keigo Oyamada, a Japanese singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He has been active under this name since Flipper's Guitar disbanded in 1993. Known for his experimental and cutting-edge pop music, he is also popular overseas, as demonstrated by the rave reviews following the release of his third album, Fantasma, in America in 1997. He also worked on the soundtrack of the 2013 anime Ghost in the Shell: Arise.
